offers the area of diverse ethnic groups, SouthEast Asians,
Filipinos, Chinese, and Vietnamese; both traditional and artisan
breads include innovative pastries from around the world.
Trained for over a decade in the art of Classical baking as
an apprentice to several legendary Master Bakers in Hong Kong;
Peter graduated from world renown French Pastry School in Chicago
in the year 2000. Since then, he was recruited by The Four Seasons
Hotel – Chicago, the chains’ flagship property.

After several years, he advanced to become part of the opening
team for the Sofitel Water Tower Place, Head Baker of the Hotel
Sofitel Chicago. (link & image) Taking on the huge responsibility,
Peter carefully fulfilled his lifetime dreams. He and his wife,
Susan opened their very own up-scaled bakery, La Patisserie
P - in 2004. He transformed the neighborhood with his up-scale
approach and his talented baking skills of specialty pastries,
while completing an entire renovation of his new bakery by summer
